Displaced Fracture of Right Patella and Fixation

Medical exhibit illustrates a displaced patellar fracture in an anterior and lateral views, plus the three steps of the surgical procedure to repair the injury and a post-operative condition of the surgical fixation. Two x-ray film scans are also included. The surgical images include a 4 inch longitudinal incision of the patella, internal reduction of bone fracture with a bone clamp and two K-wires and fixation of the patella with two cannulated screws tied together with a sternal wire.
